Dear 2024-25 Fellows,

We are so glad that you are interested in returning for another year of Jewish learning and community in the Hartman Teen Fellowship. As our Fellowship grows, and as we welcome new Fellows, we want to make sure that returning Fellows are deepening their learning and their commitment to applying ideas to leadership. The form below asks you to think about the impact of the Fellowship, your goals for returning, and your vision for active Jewish leadership.

Applications are due on April 4.

Not all returning Fellows will be accepted for an additional year of the Fellowship.

We also want to share with you that the tuition for the Fellowship is increasing for next year to $1,000. We remain committed to making sure that finances are not a barrier for any interested Fellow; financial aid remains available.

What is one takeaway from the program that has changed the way you approach Jewish living and Jewish community? (100 words max)

The Fellowship has four main components (Shabbatonim, Trimester Electives, Beit Midrash classes, Shevet gatherings) and ongoing mentorship and enrichment opportunities. Choose two parts of the program and describe how they impacted your Jewish values and commitments. (100 words max)

We expect Fellows who return for a second year to take the ideas they’ve learned and put them into practice – in how they approach questions or situations, in how they make Jewish choices, and how they act as leaders in the Jewish community. Please suggest one way that you would want to use some of the ideas you have learned in your home or school community.
