Applications for the Internship in Jewish Organizational Leadership are now open at the Shalom Hartman Institute of North America!

Interns can apply to specific departments within the organization, gaining insights into different facets of Hartman’s operations. These internships offer valuable opportunities for students to refine their skills in areas such as copy editing, marketing, podcast production, and general non-profit administration. All internships will be 3-4 hours a week and offer a stipend of $3,000 ($1,500 each semester).

All interns are expected to attend the Hartman Student Leadership Summits in August 2024 and January 2025 to learn with Hartman scholars and receive job-specific training. The Hartman Institute covers all travel, accommodations, and meals during the Summits.

Hartman Institute Internships offer flexibility in terms of location. Some are limited to students on campus in particular locations, while others are virtual and open to students anywhere. Our main office is on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, and we have regional offices in Boston, Washington, DC, Detroit, Chicago, Toronto, and the San Francisco Bay Area.

The deadline for submission is 5:00 PM ET on June 14th.

Feel free to contact Avigail Schneiman at avigail.schneiman@shalomhartman.org with any questions about the application. Please include "Undergraduate Internship" in the subject line.
