Due to a generous donor, we are glad to be able to offer this week of high-level learning for $1,500. Generous financial aid is available for students who need and who are traveling independently (without a Hillel group). Finances should not be an obstacle to your participation.

COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOL

 

SHI NA considers the health and safety of our employees, program participants, and their families to be our utmost priority. With that in mind, we would like to provide you with the following information regarding the policies and practices we are adopting, and ask you to adopt.

 

Keeping the Program Safe

This is what we expect you to do to help keep our program safe:

 

  • Vaccination: Everyone who participates in a SHI NA program must be fully vaccinated (defined as two shots of Moderna or Pfizer, one shot of J&J).
  • Booster: Everyone who participates in a SHI NA program ages 18 and older should (not must) have both booster shots. 


We will follow all locally required protocols. We will release further guidelines closer to the program date. 
Health Insurance
To enter Israel, you made need proof that your insurance covers all costs associated with potential infection of COVID-19 while traveling abroad. 
If your policy does not cover COVID-19, please purchase seperately. You can find policies to purchase here, here or here.

Finance
Thanks to a generous donor, we are glad to be able to offer this week of high-level learning for individual students at a cost of $1,500. 

Registration includes the cost of study, meals most days, and accommodations in a nearby hotel. 

Financial Aid

We are glad to be able to offer this week of high-level learning for $1,500. In order to create an equitable opportunity, we have generous financial aid available and request that students attending independently (without a Hillel group) contribute as much as is feasible for them, on a sliding scale of $250-$1500.

We expect participants to contribute a minimum of $250. For assistance gathering funds, we recommend you reach out to your local Hillel, Jewish Federation, synagogue, other communal organization. Please let us know if you would like help with gathering funds. We are excited to learn with you!

Other required expense:
- Roundtrip airfare to Israel.

SHI NA works with a travel agency to book our travel. Please reach out to our travel agent Aik, aik@okttravel.com to arrange your flights. Flights should be under $1,500.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES


Programming will begin at 5:00pm in Jerusalem on December 27th and conclude on our campus in Jerusalem at 2:00pm on January 3rd. Please arrange your travel accordingly.
