Thank you for nominating a candidate to apply for the Rodan Family Fellowship for East Bay Jewish Communal Professionals. This fellowship seeks to support the local leadership pipeline by strengthening East Bay Jewish professionals' capacities for tackling the key questions that challenge our Jewish community today (Israel, Jewish Peoplehood, American partisanship, and COVID-19's impact on the Jewish community). Candidates will be selected on the basis of the following factors:
Capacity (and future capacity) to lead within their organization and the broader community, especially in regards to cultivating a meaningful and thoughtful Judaism.Demonstrated record of professional achievement Alignment with the mission and approach of the Shalom Hartman Institute.
We recognize that COVID-19 has significantly impacted local Jewish organizations and welcome the nomination of candidates who are currently furloughed or between positions, but who intend to continue their career within Jewish communal institutions.
