CLP is a week-long intensive seminar taught by senior faculty of the Shalom Hartman Institute that explores foundational Jewish ideas and central dilemmas of contemporary Jewish life. CLP attracts North American and Israeli communal lay leaders and philanthropists who are active in local, national, and international Jewish communal life, who are interested in a week of pluralistic, open-minded, and intellectually rigorous Jewish study.

COVID-19 Protocols


Due to the dynamic and ever-changing situation with COVID-19, it is difficult to say at time of writing (November 2022) what the COVID-19 safety policies will be in June 2023. However, the Shalom Hartman Institute will follow all of the regulations set forth by the Israeli Health Ministry and will remain in touch with all registrants regarding COVID-19 protocols as relevant to CLP in June 2023.

 

Based on the COVID-19 situation in June 2023, the Shalom Hartman Institute may implement additional measures to ensure the health and safety of all participants.

Registration Fee

The registration fee for the 2023 CLP Community Leadership Program is $2,350/ $2,900 CAD/ ₪ 7,990 per person.


Generosity Waiver: If you make a new gift or pledge of $10,000 and above to the Shalom Hartman Institute between September 2022 through August 2023 you are eligible for the option to waive the CLP 2023 Registration fee.  The registration fee is waived for the donor plus one additional participant. Please note all pledges must be fulfilled by August 2023.


Your registration fee includes all educational materials, seminar programming, morning snacks, daily lunches and most dinners, Shabbat meals, evening lectures, cultural activities, and one full-day excursion with field trip options throughout Israel.
