Sources Presents: Talkback with Christine Hayes

Sunday, October 17 at 1 pm ET.

Join Professor Christine Hayes and Sources editor, Benjamin Balint, for a discussion of Talmudic disputes that model civil, respectful debate as outlined in Hayes' recent essay, “Shaming, Disagreement, and Purposeful Difference.”

In the examples of the rabbis, she elucidates styles of argument that elevate ideas while honoring the sanctity of the individual and community.  It’s a message that will resonate with all Americans as our civic discourse frays. Add your voice to this important conversation.
