מכתב הפנייה | Cover Letter

מטרת כתב העת ראשית היא להוציא לאור מאמרים, בכל תחומי מדעי היהדות, שהם בעלי משמעות לשאלות היסוד של הקיום היהודי. בהתאם למטרות אלו יתקבלו רק מאמרים שיעמדו בשני התנאים הבאים: קודם כל, שהם יהיו חמורים ומוקפדים מבחינת הרמה האקדמית, כלומר מבוססים על עבודה טקסטואלית והיסטורית מלאה. שנית, שהם יהיו לא רק מקצועיים, מעניינים וחדשניים אלא גם משמעותיים.

Reshit: Studies in Judaism stipulates two criteria for accepting submissions: First, the article must meet the highest academic standards. Second, the article must be not only innovative but meaningful. To fulfill these criteria, the author is invited to explain the article’s importance and its significance for how we think about and understand contemporary Jewish life
